The working language of the International Symposium is English.

Weather

Early August in Gifu is sunny and warm. The average daytime temperature is about 30 degC, with its highest at around 35 degC and lowest at 25 degC. And average night-time temperature is about 25 degC.

Currency Exchange

In Japan, only Yen is used. Exchange centers can be found at airports and bank. The rate of exchange is set by the Bank, which is now about US$ 1.00 = 100 Yen. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, JCB, and other credit cards are accepted in many department stores and hotels. It is possible to draw cash from ATM machines at bank, convenience store and shopping centers using the appropriate cards.
